What is its purpose?

This indicator will measure the number of anti-trafficking policies, laws or international agreements that have been strengthened through USG implementing partners' provision of technical support. It includes assistance with drafting and reviewing new or revised laws, as well as advocacy work to encourage the passage of new or amended anti-trafficking legislation. 'Please note that this indicator is a United States Government Standard Indictor, or "F Indicator", and can be included in the MEL plans of USG funded projects.

How to Collect and Analyse the Required Data

This indicator will measure progress on Prosecution. Data will be collected quarterly to inform strategic reviews and the data will be shared in the annual PPR.

Important Comments

This indicator supports the USG's theory of change that we advance the fight against trafficking in persons by strengthening the legal framework for trafficking.  Strong legal frameworks hold traffickers accountable for the crimes that they have committed and ensure justice for victims.
