Definitions:
Direct Support includes shelter and rehabilitation, legal, medical, and psychological counselling, education, reintegration assistance, and life skills and vocational training. This indicator is intended to cover services for victims of all forms of trafficking and for victims of all ages. One off support will not be counted, such as one-off food donations or one-off bus tickets.
Needs assessment is a systematic process for determining and addressing needs, or "gaps" between current conditions and desired conditions or "wants". Needs include different aspects of physical health, mental health, social, livelihood, and legal.
Note: For the purpose of this indicator, needs of TIP survivors are related to their wellbeing and protection. Only trained social workers are allowed to conduct needs assessments and work on referrals, after the needs assessment with the client.
